JOTO PR, an award-winning PR Agency, is looking for a remote freelance writer that has professional experience drafting press releases, media pitches and byline articles for B2B companies in business, finance, IT and healthcare industries. The applicant must understand target audiences and follow structural directions provided in order to generate notable press stories that will be covered by the media. The writer must have the ability to execute client messaging with hard-hitting angles and facts to build their influence within their market. Candidate should be professional and be able to thrive in a deadline-driven environment.
Must understand the importance of implementing effective keywords and hyperlinks within a digital age press release. The writing must be high caliber and geared toward various audiences (C-suite Executives, businesses, consumers, etc.).
Write engaging, compelling and newsworthy press releases, media pitches and byline articles for client campaigns
Be comfortable in understanding and applying best practices relevant to various industries (business, healthcare, IT and finance industries)
Be curious, proactive, and contribute new ideas that display results including finding new ways to attract media attention
Showcase knowledge of current news and latest media trends
Understand the role of public relations in cultivating ROI and third-party credibility
3 + years’ experience in writing for the media
Exceptional grammar and spelling Proficient in AP Style
Exceptional proofreading and copy-editing skills are a must-have!
Proven track record of successful press releases, media pitches and byline article
Writers with expansive PR knowledge and current news
Fluent in English
