We’re hiring for our team of passionate travelers who love teaching people how to travel cheaper, better, and smarter.
We’re seeking an organized and creative individual to manage the social media for Nomadic Matt, Inc. We want a detail-oriented and self-disciplined person to help us increase our engagement, grow our audience, and better engage with our readers.
Create monthly content calendars for Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, and Facebook.
Create quarterly marketing plans for our social channels with clear goals and KPIs.
Create monthly social media reports highlighting wins and what needs improvement.
Create graphics for social media and lead ads on an as needed basis.
Schedule content on all relevant platforms via Sprout Social (or similar platform).
Manage our lead generation campaigns for Instagram and Facebook for our email lists.
Collaborate with team members to stay up to date on everything we’re doing to make sure it’s promoted on social media.
Write copy for our social media and ads.
Work with other creators and brand partners to set up and manage any collaborations.
Manage social media for our yearly event, TravelCon.
Manage social media for our course, Superstar Blogging.
Answer questions and comments on social media on an as needed basis using our brand voice.
Help manage and grow our Patreon community.
Provide help and assistance to our Superstar Blogging students regarding social media best practices.
This job description is not all-inclusive and certain activities, duties, or responsibilities may be required of the employee as needed. The hours per week varies between 35-40 hours.
At least 2 years managing social media for content creators or businesses
Working knowledge of WordPress
Experience with Facebook ads
Experience with Sprout Social (or similar program), Canva (or similar program), Adobe (or similar program), Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram in a business setting
Ability to stick to a schedule
Comfortable working on virtual teams
Comfortable working on your own and remotely and the ability to self-motivate
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Thrive in a fast-paced environment (we do a lot and we’re growing)
