Our client, a technology company specializing in data and storage networking products, is looking for a senior technical writer.

Document Development tools

Development is in a DITA-based XML structure using XMetaL, aligned with a Component Content Management System (SDL LiveContent Architect).

Requirements

· Excellent domain knowledge of networking- at least 5 years networking experience.

· Excellent writing skills and experience writing end -user documents, such as configuration, installation and troubleshooting for advanced networking features

· Experience working in DITA or a structured authoring environment

· Great understanding of component content management, knowledge of CCMS and XML authoring tools, with experience of SDL's LiveContent product set (Architect, Create and Reach) and XMetaL

· Must have experience working in documentation teams, and the ability to communicate status to the Documentation Lead

This is a 20 hr per week, remote working position.
